Old Town Master Bathroom Remodel
Core Remodel was the general contractor for this bathroom renovation. Built in 2000 with original finishes, this space was ready for a makeover!
The master bathroom had a large jacuzzi bathtub with a separate walk-in shower. As true for many owners, using a bathtub on a regular basis wasn’t realistic and the need for a larger walk-in shower was apparent. The final design consisted of removing the bathtub and relocating the toilet to make space for a larger vanity, 32” make-up vanity, vessel sink and two person shower. We reduced the size of the original vanity to allow for a larger shower, knee wall for privacy and interior niche for additional storage space. At the owner’s request, we used the knee wall as an accent opportunity to spruce-up the toilet area. This project included Schluter radiant heat flooring, Delta and Brizo stainless steel fixtures, white shaker style cabinets and a clear frameless ⅜” custom shower door. To showcase the tall ceilings, we stacked the large format shower tile in a vertical pattern. Overall, this job was a success and one of our favorites!
