Uptown Bathroom Remodel
Core Remodel was contracted directly by the owner for this bathroom renovation. With the intention of renting out his unit, the owner wanted a way to differentiate his space from others.
The original condo had a typical walk-in bathtub with limited space and generic finishes. The owner traveled often for work and asked us to choose finishes as if we were remodeling our own condo, while staying within his budget. The new walk-in shower had to increase in size and there was very little room with the way the entry door swung. We decided to flip the bathroom door to swing out into the hallway, which allowed us to increase the shower size by 4”. We added 3”x12” shower wall tile and hexagon tile on the floors. We also found a cool vanity that was over budget, but we were able to purchase at a discounted rate due to a bad special order. This project was successfully completed in 4 weeks. The owner ended up hiring us to come back afterwards and replace the kitchen countertops, sink and faucet.
