West Loop Bathroom Remodel & Laundry Addition
Core Remodel was contracted directly by the owners of this townhouse. Their main priorities were to remove the bathtub, install a large walk-in shower and add a washer/dryer to the master suite from the basement.
After meeting with the owner to review the estimate, they asked to take a tour of recently completed projects to see our work in-person and we agreed. Helping the client make decisions was entirely satisfying given the old bathroom had original finishes. We used 24” x 12” matte grey porcelain tile on the floor and a glossy white porcelain tile on the shower walls. Additionally, we decided on Delta plumbing fixtures and a Kohler Persuade two-piece toilet versus a Toto one-piece for esthetic reasons. We agreed afterwards that it was another special design element that set this job apart. With limited space, our biggest obstacle was finding the perfect placement for the washer/dryer while also providing open shelving. We were able to do this successfully, creating a unique and functional space!
